Social Value Consultancy can help you with your tendering and procurement process to help you gain the highest marks against Social Value questions. With the introduction of the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, Policy Procurement Note 06/20 Social Value Model and the recent Procurement Bill 2023, there is now a minimum mandatory weighting of 10% towards Social Value in the tendering and procurement process. Although it is now mandatory to have a 10% weighting towards Social Value in the tendering and procurement process, we have advised client to increase the Social Value weighting to 20-50% depending on the type of project to be procured.

Social Value Consultancy are experts in developing Social Value Strategies for clients at an organisational level, programme, portfolio level and project level. We have developed the first and only ever Social Value Strategy for Atkins Realis that was endorsed by Social Value UK and Social Value International. From this Social Value Strategy, Social Value UK and Social Value International have developed their Social Value Management Level 1, level 2 and level 3 accreditations and approach to certification for organisations embedding social value in their business operations.
In addition, Social Value Consultancy developed the exemplar Social Value Strategy and Societal Benefits Model for the £40bn New Hospitals Programme which is part of the HM Treasury Business Case Appraisal for the capital investment in new hospitals across the UK. To do this we integrated our Whole Life Value approach which starts with the development of a Social Value, Sustainability or ESG Strategy depending on what the requirements are.
Although a Social Value Sustainability and ESG strategy can be retrofitted depending on where you are on your lifecycle journey, early engagement in Strategy Development is the ey to successful delivery sustainable social, economic, and environmental outcomes.
